Cancellation Policy – YouLove

At YouLove, every order is carefully processed and prepared with attention to detail. Since many of our products are handcrafted and packed individually, order cancellations are subject to certain conditions and charges.

Please review the cancellation policy below before placing an order.

Order Cancellation Before Dispatch

Customers may cancel their order before it has been dispatched.

In this case, a ₹100 cancellation fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.

Why is this charge necessary?

When an order is placed, several processes begin immediately, including:

  • Payment gateway transaction charges

  • Order processing and handling

  • Checkout platform fees

  • Initial packaging preparation

  • Operational and processing costs

These costs are incurred even if the order has not yet been shipped. Therefore, a ₹100 deduction helps cover these operational expenses.

Cancellation After Order Dispatch

Once the order has been dispatched and is in transit, cancellation becomes more costly because the shipment has already entered the courier network.

If you request cancellation at this stage, a ₹200 cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

The ₹200 charge covers the following expenses:

  • Payment gateway charges

  • Order handling and processing fees

  • Checkout platform fees

  • Shipping charges paid to the courier

  • Packaging material and packing labor

  • RTO (Return-to-Origin) charges when the parcel is returned

These operational costs are unavoidable once the order has been shipped.

Refund for Cancelled Orders

Once a cancellation request is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 3–5 business days

  • The refund will be issued to the original payment method used during checkout

Please note that payment gateway processing times may vary depending on your bank.

Non-Cancellable Orders

Orders may not be cancelled in the following cases:

  • If the order has already been delivered

  • If a return or refund request has already been processed

  • If the order includes limited edition or promotional items
